Emergency First Aid at Work
Level 3 Award in Emergency First Aid at Work (EFAW) (RQF) (1 Day)
The purpose of the TQUK Level 3 Award in Emergency First Aid at Work (RQF) is for the learner to attain knowledge and practical competences reuired to deal with a range of workplace first aid situations. It provides learners with the opportunity to develop skills, knowledge and understanding to enable them to provide appropriate care and manage life-threatening conditions, minor illnesses and injuries. Learners will have the knowledge and skills required to provide Emergency First Aid in an occupational setting in a prompt, safe and effective manner to meet the requirements of the Health and Safety Executive (HSE) First Aid Regulations 1981.
Level 3 Award in Emergency First Aid at Work (EFAW) (RQF) Assessment and Certification
The qualification is assessed via practical demonstrations and oral questioning. All successful learners will be issued with an Emergency First Aid at Work Certificate (from TQUK Awarding Body), along with a wallet-sized plastic card detailing their qualification which is valid for a period of three years. However, the recommendation is that learners refresh their knowledge annually.
